Yes because the government controlling wealth is much better then privately owned corporations and small businesses. The government won’t exploit anyone of course, And are small businesses at the top of this “hierarchy based on greed and manipulation?” No. There’s a reason why socialism has never worked, anywhere.

Anyone with any rational, logical thinking knows socialism is ridiculous.

Lol, if you have the right people in government - and a transparent system in place whereby you can monitor and oust representatives going against the interests of the masses - the possibility to exploitation is dramatically reduced. When you have to pander to the working people, as opposed to big corporations and rich and powerful individuals, the entire structure changes.

And no, small businesses aren’t included in that. Many socialists believe in nationalising things like education, health, welfare, big corporations like oil companies, electricity companies etc… the small coffee shop down the road isn’t a threat to the people. And with fair regulation, it’s beneficial to society.
